PS3 Repair - PS3 Repair is Not As Easy As Getting a New One

The start.

After you spent $400 on a PS3 console two weeks later it causes Problems. Try to not get to upset there are a couple of things you can do to fix it. If you are not electronically presented, stay away from it. Send it back to Sony for $150. But if not here are some tricks to repair ps3.

Important things first

When you go to turn on your game and you get the blinking red light there's a definite issue. First before you panic, attempt to turn the game off for one minute or two and then turn it back on. Lots of the time if you catch it early it may be fixed by this straightforward step.

Second

If the light is still on pull out the hard drive. Overheating will cause this red light. This will sound simple but there are some screws that need to come loose. Let the drive cool down for approximately 30 minutes or so. Give it to its lawful place, your games should run smoothly.

Step Three

The laser is very hard to get to and must be handled with care. There are some screws that need to be removed before getting to it. The laser will be obvious it's important that you don't touch it. Employ a Q-tip which has alcohol on it to wash it. Rub it down gradually. This should fix that issue.

There is no power to it.

If it does not turn on at all, replace the power supply. Unless you heard a fuse blow out, it would have sounded like a loud pop. Do a Google search for a new power supply and install it. If it was the fuse take it out of the power and bring it to a store. Most probably they will be in a position to find the fuse.

Finally

This is something you want to be particularly careful of. Remember try doing these only if it is out of warranty because if not you'll void it. Even still in warranty if your tech savvy no necessity to send it back to Sony. Try and fix ps3 yourself. This will save you time and cash. Mos tof the times it is pretty simple to repair PS3 yourself.
