Why You Shouldn't Buy A Cheap Mobile Phone

By ar - Posted on 26 July 2010

It is easy to find reasonably priced mobile phones on the internet or by visiting a high street shop. The brand name might seem unrecognisable to you, but the phone looks reassuringly just like one of the more expensive popular phones of the moment. And though you may feel that buying this phone is a great idea as it will save you a lot of money, quite often you are just going to be wasting your money. The reasons below are just some of the ones for not purchasing a cheap mobile phone.

- Those mobile phones that are a copy of more expensive phones are usually created by manufacturers with no scruples. These companies won't care about ripping you off; especially if they don't have a problem with stealing other companies' designs. You usually get what you pay for and if you purchase a cheap imitation then this is what you will get.

- Getting any kind of customer service for these cheap mobile phones can be very hard. This is one of the main reasons for steering clear of these types of phones; because if you do experience any problems which is highly likely, then it will be almost impossible to get your phone fixed properly.

- These phones will go out of date very quickly. If you like to take advantage of all the latest technology then you are probably going to lose out with this type of phone.

- The embarrassment of it; a lot of people will not want others to see them with a phone that looks tacky and cheap. Ok, so maybe we shouldn't really care what people think about us, but first impressions do count. Nobody is going to be impressed with a cheap version of a mobile phone.

There are a few cheaper mobile phones that are good value, but be very careful of those that are pretending to be something they are not.

Memory Cards are items found in a lot of things in today's day and age. R4 cards happen to be a great example of this. Another one that is used nowadays is the R4i.
